Alta+ Style Guide
During my time at Oracle, my team and I were responsible for identifying pain points in our applications' design language. Our biggest observation was the lack of consistency across the company's Alta user interface, so to solve this we designed an entirely new and modular UI that not only introduced a solution to the original problem, but also enhanced the overall look and experience of our products. To ensure our new user interface was easy to implement in various phases, we broke it down into four different categories: Atoms, Molecules, Components, and Templates. This helped developers build each asset with a specific approach that aligned with our designated sprints. We dubbed the new UI Alta+ and it eventually served as the foundation for Oracle's signature Redwood design language.
